Cooking: 15 minutes serves: 8-12


2 cups whole milk
5 tbsp starch
250 ml cream
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup water
3 tbsp lemon juice
3 tbsp rose water or blossom
1 pack toast bread
1 cup toasted pine
1 cup toasted almonds
1 cup crushed pistachios
1 cup lemon blossom jam


1. Heat the milk and cream and starch to the boil, leave on low heat for 2 to 3 minutes stirring constantly, put it aside.

2. Heat the sugar until it dissolves and becomes golden brown, add the water and lemon juice gradually and carefully, let the mixture boils, add the rose water. Keep it warm.

3. Cut the edges on the sides of the toast bread, place it in a tray over low heat, pour the syrup in step 2 over the toast with a little press on the toast until absorbs the syrup.

4. Place the toast into a serving dish, cover with cream mixture of step 1, then garnish on top with plenty of nuts and jam. Serve
